WOW!!! its more than a month since i posted SMTH~~~
amazing... ahaha actually no la i'm jus pure lazy
nowadays go back home no motivation to do hmwk
and there i go stoning around not knowing what games to play either =(
there's no going back to the old days when our entire bunch of 405 guys will chiong DotA
neither is there world of warcraft to play now that the stupid private krillins server is down
and all my past games dun appeal to me anymore le 0.o
e.g. maple, UC, utopia, runescape, PKO, sims, romance of 3 kingdoms, etc...

and so i'm reduced to stoning >.<
haha but there's still every new episode of bleach awaiting me on every thurs or fri
and the pre-open beta of granado espada opening on 17th may!!!
wooo so excited~~~
but until then.... i still face my com looking at my download accelerator plus dl-ing patches for the WOW game client~~~ constantly ending up wif a failed download before it even reached halfway thru 0.o~~~ sianzzz

haha went for sports heats 4x400m race today
lol i tink is my competitiors fang shui
i was first to pass baton to 2nd runner haha
but even if qualify into finals confirm cannot outrun the senior team of solaris and lignum (comprising of purely senior canoeists) and the strong aqua team (got canoeists and track&field ppl) -.-'"
but even so, i dun intend to win anything for solaris anyway...

a sad day for me today
since i had been moved to a C craft and almost entirely impossible to go back to K craft
i had been offered a chance to row in a K for today's NJCC race
but i made a fatal mistake that shld nvr have happened~~
i capsized during the race

along wif me huiming who was sitting behind went down too
i jus wanna say sorry
i am jus so so so depressed now

entering njc canoeing club was wat i wanted since sec sch
and i have always wanted to row fast in a double-sided paddling K craft
and now it can no longer happen...
i am stuck in C now
jus when i start to understand the meaning of rowing K
jus when i realise the mistakes that i've been making while rowing K
jus when i want to correct those mistakes and perfect my strokes~~~~~

i dread the C... i jus wish i can still go back to K someday
to fly along the waters of macritchie
and to contribute to the team's next overall championship title
jus a little glimmer of hope shattered today when i capsized the boat

and now~~~ there is absolutely no chance of me being brought back to the K squad

i always knew i was a jack of all trades but a master of none
but for once in my life i was determined to master something.. and thats the way to row K
isit fate playing a trick on me?
or am i jus lousy?
depression......................

but still, there will ALWAYS be this little part of me that still clings on to the hope of going back to K~~~~~~

Sian i experience a horrible lack of time recently....

i haven found 2 frens for the oic when the deadline is today!!!
have to call stupid ljs to tell them i really cannot work which i haven called
have to spam phonecalls on ppl trying to make them go for oic
have to go and organise the seniors going for nyghs gz concert
have exco outing this sat which i have to miss, sobs
have class barbecue sometime soon which i dunno whether i'll have to miss
have primary sch outing which most prob i cannot go oso~~~~~

all change same combi oso cannot stay same class, wtf is this man

Ouch i overexerted my right forearm during training today...

Economics: Useful or inhumane???

i really wanna say something that suddenly brought about deep thinking today...
and i really mean DEEP thinking~~~
not that i hardly think but maybe i jus thought a little bit more XD hahaha

Mr Tiew was going thru the econs homework today
the one on activity 4... the case study of bonneville thingy... the power or fish de
then we were like having "some" form of discussion in the class
about how we shld support the case of power instead of fish
BLAH BLAH BLAH... the story goes on~~~

then he mentioned something about economists calculating whether benefits or cost
is going to outweigh the other or something like that lar...
then a qn was raised~~~~~~
"how would we actually measure the value of life"
as a strong believer in philosophy... i was very intrigued 0.o dun diao me ok

he said that economists actually calculate EVERYTHING, including life, as monetary value
so as to make it easier for decisions to be made
for small small cases that we calculate the value of life i dun care lar
but what if it actually involves big cases of valuable life??!!

to me life can never be calculated in monetary values
even if someone killed some other guy in a car accident and was fined...
the victim was 40 yrs old and have about 30 more yrs to live
so they calculate like that and determine how much the culprit has to be fined
including whether the victim has big families or wadeva past records he have....
BUT
does that mean that his life can be judged like that
does that ending his life in such a way makes him deserve to be valued and compared to money!

PLS lar economists... i noe that money is a standard for all worldwide and its convenience is such that it can be used to calculate MOST things....
but nvr use money to calculate human life...
after all money is invented by humans... an invention that was never needed in this world
a means of possesing stuff that u can or able to... an act of selfishness

oh and one more thing... does economists allocating scarce resources to appropriate areas...
mean that as humans they allocate their love and concern to ppl whom they think shld deserve more...
a person picks up $10 for you and you treat him to a drink
soeme other person picks up a pen for you and you may not even say thanks...
is that how the heart of economists works???
what are we actually studying in economics anyway...
to really be able to analyse and use scarce resources??
or to create selfish individuals who use the value of money to compare with things in our everyday lives???

PLS do not place the value of "root of all evil" on lives!!!
i have a bad impression on economics now that i know what economists actually do...
not jus analyse the allocation of scarce resources or something...

Ahha its orientation in NJC!!! woots
the whole of this week we're gonna feel the life of njc
its the end of the 2nd day of orientation and i mus say....
not as wat i expected....
1) due to that idiotic and perverted secret admirere who stole the only nh shorts i have!!!
2) super complicated mass dances that we are learning in super cramped conditions... not to mention WET!!
3) only 6 guys in our civics class... overwhelmed by gals... I WANT CHIO BUS!!!

haha soli for whining the whole day to you jp... i seriously cannot stand the current shorts i am wearing...
but as u said its revenge for u being so annoying ytd XD
but good that we in same class ~shake hands~ =))

and tml got the external hunt starting at chinatown~~~ woots~~~
thnx heaven, hell and everyone around that we didn't tio woodlands or pasir ris!!!

we're nearing the end of hols le
shld find some free time to go cut my highlighted hair
doesn't look really good on me after some time...

played badminton wif the guys today... haha we paid for 2 hours and played for 5 hours
we're evil man
guess i'm feeling rebellious now that i've graduated...
but not for long...
jus so happy to be sitting in njc LT to listen to the subj combi tok...
i jus hope i'll be sitting there for the next two yrs...
nvr tot of wat will happen to me if i had to leave njc
guess ac would be nice... but still disappointing yar
mus still say that i have very little hopes for my o lvl results

and its not exactly the nicest book of the series

Its the 6th of dec today and at 11.30pm now...
back from the council chalet and i'm so exhausted.. so many pag sae-ers not to mention
ok i'm gonna complain again~~ the aircon is SOOOO cold!!!
haha and its really funny how leung yan can snatch the blanket over..
i was left freezing one the first nite
and so i decided to don the 2nd nite...
unfortunately i can't do so and i had to sleep at around 5 am =S

nevertheless we had a great chalet..
oh and eveyy safe trip!!!
if u are reading this... jus wanna say sori i really didn't noe u had a chalet too!!
to the rest of the guys who had to pay 40 bucks.. sori too =(
muacks.. think this is the last time i'm attending the chalet as a councillor of nhhs
haha i learned how to play bridge!!! oh dear i tink i'm addicted =P
and we gossiped around the whole day.. whoa didn't noe there were so many~~
